Meet talented members of the SeaSide Quilt Guild as they bring their craft to life with live demonstrations of quilts and quilting techniques. 10am - 10 Mayflower St: Tony Kelso will give a talk about George Partridge -- a Duxbury Patriot -- in honor of the Mass250 celebrations this year.
George Partridge was a notable resident of Duxbury, Massachusetts, during the Revolutionary War era and played an important role in the town’s civic life. Born in 1740, he was a respected farmer and community leader who supported the Patriot cause during the American struggle for independence. Partridge served in the Massachusetts militia and was active in local governance after the war, contributing to the early development of the town and the new nation. His legacy lives on in Duxbury today, including the Partridge Academy and the Partridge Fund.
11am-1pm - 479 Washington St: Goats on the Harborwalk. Join us as we welcome the Duxbury Creamery located at the Historic O’Neill Farm. Duxbury Creamery goats will be wandering around the lawn of the Nathaniel Winsor Jr. House. Attendees are encouraged to feed, pet and cuddle the newborn goats. In the house, attendees are invited to preview the brand new 2026 exhibit highlighting special Duxbury Collection items telling the story of life in Duxbury during the American Revolutionary War.
12pm-4pm - 105 Alden St: Step back in time to experience an 18th century military encampment and living history day with Col. Bailey’s 2nd Massachusetts Regiment and the Middlesex County 4-H Fife & Drum Corps. Includes tours of Alden House. The program honors America’s 250th and life in Duxbury during the American Revolution.
12pm-4pm - 189 Alden St: Scavenger hunt for children as part of their current exhibit

Pick up a driving map sponsored by the Duxbury Local Historic District Commission to see properties from the 1700’s. Maps available at the Alden House parking lot.
110am - 10 Mayflower St: The Interfaith Council will be collecting non-perishable items for the food pantry.

Scavenger hunt onsite to Find the Fleet: The 250 boats of DBMS. There will also be a regatta on-site so it will be a great opportunity to see some racing!
